Lead Educator

A highly skilled leader is sought to spearhead our preschool’s vision of inclusive education. The successful candidate will oversee the planning and implementation of curriculum, ensuring that children with diverse abilities learn, play, and grow together.

About the Role

The Lead Educator will lead a team of professionals to achieve the preschool's objectives, outcomes, and impact. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing policies and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and statutory requirements.
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of curriculum and programs to support the achievement of school objectives, including the development of children.
  • Leading, guiding, coaching, and inspiring staff for peak performance.
  • Mentoring and coaching teachers to ensure high standards of curriculum delivery.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or master's in preschool education or early childhood care education.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in leadership roles in early childhood education and settings.
  • Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research, and practices.
  • Familiarity with ECDA preschool licensing and SPARK accreditation.
  • Good communication and management skills.
