Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Summary of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspection and basic repair work on company's electrical and mechanical vehicle systems.

  • Experience with prestige vehicles is required.
  • You will be inspecting components for wear and tear.
  • Repair or replacement of broken or worn-out parts is also part of your job.
  • Verification of vehicle functions and its subsystems will be conducted by you.

Reporting and Interface:

  • You will provide information to the supervisor about preapproval for additional repair.
  • Notifying the Service Advisor immediately of work interruptions as a result of additionally required work, complications, missing parts or missed deadlines is crucial.

Acts Diligently According to Guidelines:

  • Using checklists, repair instructions, tools, and test equipment adhered to current guidelines is essential.
  • You have co-responsibility for customer satisfaction by optimal technical solutions on customer vehicles.
  • Handling tools, special tools, work clothing, etc., properly is important.
  • Using equipment cost-effectively is another key aspect of your role.
  • Handing over dismantled, replacement, or warranty parts to the warranty department cleaned and labeled is necessary.
  • Disposing waste according to local legislated guidelines is also your responsibility.
  • OBSERVING accident prevention guidelines and reporting incidents to your supervisor is critical.

Qualifications:

  • Technical training as an automotive technician or industrial technician is required.
  • Vocational training at an automotive dealership or similar facility is necessary.
  • A driving license is a must.
  • Team orientation and a customer-focused attitude are also required.
  • You should have the required experience and skills level to carry out maintenance, inspection, and basic repair.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Saturday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
