Job Summary

This role is pivotal in the loan documentation team, accountable for preparing and reviewing credit facility and security documents.

The successful candidate will possess experience in handling legal/credit documentation, particularly in support of corporate or consumer lending within a financial institution.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare standard credit facility and security documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel to ensure accuracy and consistency of documentation.
  • Verify and ensure that all conditions precedent are properly fulfilled prior to drawdown.
  • Review credit and security documentation for completeness and appropriateness.
  • Track and manage the timely execution of all facility and security documents.
  • Monitor compliance with loan covenants and highlight exceptions to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder (Law or non-Law disciplines considered with relevant experience in loan documentation).
  • Prior experience in handling legal/credit documentation, particularly in support of corporate or consumer lending within a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with standard loan agreements, regional security documents, and related legal documentation.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in loan administration or credit documentation.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to manage deadlines and stakeholders.

You should be an adaptive and organized individual with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You should also be familiar with Microsoft Office and have experience in risk management and administration.
