The role of the Technical Solutions Expert is to provide technical support to customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare technical proposals in accordance with customer requirements;
- To analyze costs for various solutions and provide recommendations;
- To demonstrate the benefits of a system to potential customers and showcase its value proposition compared to competing solutions;
- To source and negotiate components or parts for alternatives when required;
- To participate in training and site inspections as assigned;
- To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant working experience (at least 1 year);
- Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and OPC;
- Able to read and interpret E&I drawings and technical specifications;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Good team player who can work independently and cross-departmentally;
- Able to work under pressure;
- Familiarity with MS Office and AutoCAD.
