Job Title: Clinical Team Leader

Job Description:

The job holder is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, in accordance with established policies and procedures. They ensure the effective management of the ward or department assigned.

This includes overseeing a team of registered nurses and healthcare assistants, ensuring compliance with nursing standards, leading quality assurance activities, and monitoring patient care. The job holder also ensures that written policies and standard operating procedures are available and up-to-date to guide nursing practices.

In addition, they provide direct patient care, facilitate smooth transitions between acute and chronic care settings, and direct staff development through in-house training and education opportunities.

The role requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as a good understanding of current nursing and healthcare practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the relevant nursing board
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
