About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our lead pottery trainer in delivering exceptional customer experiences. This includes conducting simple painting activities, setting up and cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead pottery trainer in delivering pottery workshops and classes
- Conduct and facilitate simple painting activities for participants
- Set up, clean, and demonstrate the use of pottery equipment and instruments safely and effectively
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, including regular upkeep of work areas, equipment, supplies, and materials
- Report to the trainer and manager, exhibiting a proactive attitude
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Candidates must have a high level of interest in ceramics/pottery
- Hold a diploma or degree in 3D art-related qualifications, especially pottery (preferred)
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Be passionate about working in the ceramics industry
- Able to use Excel for simple documentation of hours and customer records
- Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers
- Willingness to work over weekends and public holidays preferred
- Availability to work weekday and weekend slots
