Senior Design Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Designer to lead our design team in delivering innovative and user-centred solutions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing seamless user experiences across our digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive UX strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design process from research and ideation to prototyping and testing, ensuring usability, accessibility, and design excellence standards are met.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Champion user research as a core input to product strategy, embedding research into the design and development process.
  • Own the development and governance of design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across our digital products.
  • Serve as a key design advocate and liaison with executive leadership, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on design objectives and priorities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with experience in a leadership or management role preferred.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering digital products in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Expertise in user research and skilled at translating user insights into strategic product decisions.
  • Strong people management skills, including team development, performance management, and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in healthcare or insurance industry.
  • Background in service design or multi-channel experience design.
