Job Title: Trade and Investment Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Trade and Investment Expert.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade, commerce, or a related field. They will be responsible for investigating trade and investment issues of concern to the business community, co-creating solutions, and advocating them at international platforms.

Additionally, they will support the development of policy positions and formalise these through written policy papers, reports, and presentations. The successful candidate will also provide staffing and secretariat support for APEC, ASEAN, and East Asia BAC members at meetings and working groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate trade and investment issues of concern to the business community and co-create solutions
  • Support the development of policy positions and formalise them through written policy papers, reports, and presentations
  • Provide staffing and secretariat support for APEC, ASEAN, and East Asia BAC members at meetings and working groups
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Commerce, Economics, Policy & Trade, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Experience or strong interest in international trade, eCommerce, digital trade, technology, or cross-border partnerships
  • Some experience in staffing work and secretariat support for multilateral platforms
  • Good analytical, consultation, planning, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
