Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day farm operations, ensuring that production targets are met and process yield improvement is achieved.
- Production Execution: Execute high-volume production of leafy greens and salads by following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, train, and delegate daily job tasks to team members.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to farm operations-related failures or incidents and escalate issues to the management team efficiently.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that the farm's safety and housekeeping protocols are maintained at high standards, advocating a zero-accident environment through good production practices and safety initiatives.
- CEA Monitoring: Monitor CEA parameters and notify technicians about any issues detected.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory to ensure production operating consumables are sufficient and forecasted.
- Pest Management: Monitor pests and update FOMS quality sessions.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
- Education: Higher NITEC or Diploma in Agricultural/Plant Science/Horticulture/related field or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in agriculture technology/farm operations is preferred.
- Skills: Basic understanding of plant biology and agricultural practices is a plus. Good command of written and spoken English, excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and good planning and production organization skills.
- Personal Qualities: Able to work independently while being an excellent team player, having a strong interest in agricultural technology and eagerness to learn.
