Job Description

As a Social Work Associate, you will be working closely with families and social/community partners to provide support to children from low-income families in the areas of early childhood development, health, and social support. You will conduct home visits, assess, and monitor children's health and developmental needs, while also providing parents with delivery of child development strategies.


Responsibilities
  • Maintain updated information of KidSTART families in internal systems;
  • Support intake assessment of referrals;
  • Support case workers in information gathering and conduct assessments on children's developmental needs;
  • Develop holistic child-centric case plans for each child and provide monitoring and follow up to address any barriers until child graduates from programme;
  • Engage children and parents with knowledge and skills on meeting child's developmental needs;
  • Provide last mile delivery of support to families.
Requirements
  • Possess minimum Diploma in Social Work;
  • 2-3 years' experience in social service, working with families or early childhood education sector;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Organised, meticulous and adaptable to changes;
  • Able to work at least two evenings per week.
