Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Repair Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical equipment repair technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repair services and technical support to our valued customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as vacuum pumps and compressors.
  • Run and interpret QC test results, making diagnostic recommendations as needed.
  • Prepare service and safety documentation, including work permits, safe work procedures, method statements, risk assessments, and service reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in your field, attending workshops as required.
  • Become a trusted advisor to our customers, working closely with them to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum NITEC/ITE qualification. At least 2 years' experience in servicing and repairing facilities equipment is essential, with expertise in vacuum pumps, compressors, and diaphragm pumps being a significant advantage.

You should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Self-motivation and a results-oriented approach are crucial, as well as a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
