Fondant Cake Artist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fondant Cake Artist to join our team. As a skilled cake decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning cake designs that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Fondant Figurines: You will prepare fondant figurines according to customer's needs, using your creativity and technical skills to create intricate designs and details.
  • Cake Decorating: You will decorate cakes with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that every cake meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Monitoring Ingredients: You will monitor ingredients and report to the head baker if required, ensuring that all ingredients are stored and used in accordance with food safety and hygiene policies.
  • Artistic Ability: You will demonstrate strong artistic ability and attention to detail to create visually stunning cake designs that exceed customer expectations.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: You will follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures at all times, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate/Diploma/Degree: A certificate, diploma, or degree in Culinary, Pastry, or Baking is required.
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential.
  • Precise Eye for Detail: A precise eye for detail is necessary to ensure that every cake is decorated accurately and to a high standard.
  • Recipe Following: You must be able to follow recipes and instructions accurately, ensuring that every cake is made to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Pastry Arts Knowledge: Good knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients is essential to create visually stunning cake designs.
