Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our production equipment. As part of this team, you will be responsible for strategizing on maintenance procedures, supporting routine maintenance planning, analyzing breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and implementing preventive measures to improve machine reliability.

You will work closely with reliability engineers to improve equipment performance and extend its useful life cycle. This includes maintaining plant equipment, Clean In Place systems, and warehouse facilities in compliance with site safety and GMP procedures.

Key responsibilities include executing work orders, recording job performance via MAXIMO system, writing job aids, maintenance SOPs, CCA, and ER investigation reports. Additionally, you will manage and lead contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance or project works.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace) or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical/maintenance experience in manufacturing plants, preferably within GMP manufacturing environments or chemical manufacturing.
  • Experience with flexible packaging lines (e.g., Pouch Filling Operations, Stickpack or Sachet Filling Operations) is preferred.
