Our organization is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Malay Language Specialist. This role will focus on creating engaging lesson plans that promote early literacy in the Malay language for preschool-aged children.

About the Role:

This position involves developing and implementing stimulating learning environments that foster the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of young children. As a Malay Language Specialist, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement play-based learning activities that incorporate arts, crafts, music, and movement to promote early literacy skills in the Malay language.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and organized classroom atmosphere that encourages children to explore and engage in learning.
  • Collaborate with parents through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings to provide feedback on their child's development.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written Malay, with excellent language skills.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's preschool education system and guidelines is an advantage.
  • Must have EDCA (L2) certification.
