Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an educator, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). You should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A team player with experience in the Early Childhood field is highly desirable, but not essential. We offer leadership mentoring, scholarship, lateral & vertical career progression, attractive benefits and remuneration.

Our centres are located in Singapore, and we welcome candidates without early childhood certificates to apply. On-the-job training and sponsorship for early childhood courses will be provided.

As a full-time employee, you will be expected to contribute your talents and professional expertise towards our centre's initiatives, educational programmes and projects. You will also be required to establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education, and to continually upgrade your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement curriculum under the guidance of the Centre Supervisor
  • Create a secure and quality learning environment for children
  • Actively engage in Centre initiatives to support collaborative efforts with the community
  • Contribute one's talents and professional expertise towards the centre's initiatives, educational programmes and projects
  • Establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education
  • Keep abreast of the latest educational development and continually upgrade one's skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience in the Early Childhood field is highly desirable but not essential
