Job Title: Junior Strategic Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, adaptable problem solver to join our team as a Junior Strategic Project Manager. This role is ideal for someone with an engineering background and project coordination experience who is ready to lead technology-related initiatives across the business.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage engineering-related strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Challenge existing processes through innovation to drive business growth.
  • Partner with sales, engineering, and cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop project charters, plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring clear accountability and deliverables.
  • Identify gaps, propose interventions, and proactively follow up with stakeholders to remove roadblocks.
  • Prepare executive-ready reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing progress, risks, and recommendations.
  • Track and report project performance using PMO standards and tools.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement through clear and professional communication.
  • Support PMO process improvements and the adoption of best practices for project governance.

Critical Competencies for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business management or related.
  • 2-4 years' experience in project management, coordination, or related roles (technology-related projects preferred).
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) - strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working.
  • Good knowledge of products, engineering and processes, with good business acumen.
  • Curious and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, technologies, and business contexts.
  • Good organizational and planning skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across different geographies, cultures, and functions.
  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to the audience.
  • Familiarity with PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar).
  • Exposure to working in cross-functional and multi-level environments.
