Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated educator to provide high-quality instruction in IB English and Literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons that align with the IB curriculum.
  • Foster critical thinking and creativity through classroom discussions.
  • Evaluate student progress using IB standards.
  • Cultivate a love of literature and language among students.
  • Provide guidance and support to students as needed.

Non-Teaching Duties:

  • Participate in professional development and school events.
  • Supervise students during breaks and unstructured times.
  • Lead extracurricular activities or clubs.
  • Support internal sub coverage as needed.
  • Contribute to school committees and work groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in English, Literature, or Education.
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Ability to inspire curiosity and engagement in students.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
