Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Vessel Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery onboard harbour crafts.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out thorough inspection and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Liaise with Fleet Operations team on breakdown reports and harbour crafts status
  • Perform lathe machining, basic gas welding, and cutting works to facilitate repair to machinery
  • Assist in lifting activities, forklift operation, confined space assessment
  • Ensure proper disposal of used oils and chemicals
Requirements:
  • Possess at least a Nitec in Marine Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and MOM accredited certifications such as SSIC, Safety Supervisor, Lifting Supervisor, Forklift Driving
  • For Mechanical candidates: Prior experience in performing mechanical fitment, basic gas and TIG welding, hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting will be considered favourably
  • For Electrical candidates: Good knowledge of electrical and instrument systems and familiar with electrical schematics diagrams and symbols will be considered favourably
