Shipping and Logistics Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Logistics Manager to join our team. As a Shipping and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and logistics process, including order processing, shipping, and warehousing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of shipping and logistics operations, including order processing and shipping
- Communication with customers and suppliers via email and phone
- Liaising with shipping lines and freight forwarders to arrange transportation
- Preparation of import/export documentation and oversight of cargo inspection and warehousing
- Timely communication of order status to suppliers and customers
- Data entry of customer order information, product grades, and pricing
- LC issuance or negotiation as needed
- Troubleshooting problems encountered during shipping and logistics operations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Degree/Diploma or equivalent, have at least 5 years of experience in Shipping and Logistics, and have strong communications and interpersonal skills.
