Strategic Commodity Manager

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage our commodities and develop strategic procurement plans. This role is responsible for maintaining regional or global responsibility for specific commodities or groups of commodities.
- Maintains regional or global responsibility for a specific commodity or group of commodities for price/value determination, sourcing, negotiations, terms & conditions and supplier relationship development.
- Develops cost-effective procurement strategies within response time objectives.
This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Candidates with Electrical Engineering related work experience and/or qualification highly advantageous.
- Working knowledge of market trends, industry pricing, and supply/demand dynamics.
- Supports procurement activities by collaborating with site teams to compile and deliver material commitments to customers.
- Participates in procurement planning and negotiation teams by providing procurement data analysis and recommendations.
