Job Description:

  • Design and integrate mechanical systems with control algorithms and electronics, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability.

  • Develop innovative mechanisms for acquiring real-time data, including wheel encoders, joint positions, and articulated body angles.

  • Perform structural, thermal, and motion analyses using simulation tools to validate designs under real-world conditions.

  • Develop and modify vehicle subsystems to enable autonomous vehicle control.

  • Create calibration tools such as jigs and fixtures for precise alignment and testing of subsystems.

  • Collaborate with electrical and software engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems with our proprietary algorithms.

  • Research and implement advanced materials, manufacturing methods, and cutting-edge technologies to enhance vehicle performance, reduce complexity, and lower costs.

  • Provide documentation and support to manufacturing teams, ensuring successful transition from prototype to production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fields.

  • 4-6 years experience in mechanical or robotics design.

  • Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and actuation systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic principles.

  • Highly proficient in Solidworks 3D CAD.

  • Experience with structural, thermal, and motion analyses via FEA, CFD tools.

  • Understanding of vehicle systems and their integration, including powertrains, transmissions, differentials, steering, and brakes.
