As a Drone Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in the setup, operation, and maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This position requires technical skills and experience with UAV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for drone systems.
  • Integrate drones' hardware systems, perform equipment/engineering systems setup, and test/calibrate components and systems.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of drones, and apply relevant electrical skills to prepare components.
  • Configure and test drone hardware (e.g., sensors, payloads, cameras) prior to deployment, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure drone systems meet operational standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • 0-2+ years of hands-on experience with drones/UAV systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work in field environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of drone platforms such as DJI, Parrot, senseFly, or custom builds would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with flight planning software (e.g., DroneDeploy, Pix4D, Litchi, QGroundControl) would be advantageous.
