We are seeking a skilled Marine Propulsion Mechanical Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our propulsion team, you will be responsible for providing expert mechanical services to ensure the smooth operation of marine propulsion equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine propulsion systems, including planning, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and completing overhauls of major OEM equipment.">
  • Generate comprehensive field service reports with photos and documentation to support final client reports.">
  • Commission new gearboxes, involving yard, basin, and sea trials to ensure optimal performance.">
  • Interpret electrical drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of faults on electrical systems with minimal guidance.">
  • Assist the Workshop Manager in preparing parts quotations for Purchaser procurement of spares for repair and/or overhaul.">
  • Conduct daily Tool Box meetings to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health practices.">
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required in the workshop.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Hold a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.">
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in the Marine Industry, specifically in propulsion.">
  • Be able to perform troubleshooting on propulsion-related equipment with minimal guidance.">
  • Be willing to travel overseas for assignments.">
  • Be deployable within short notice periods.">
  • Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills.">
