Programs Coordinator Job Description

MINDS provides care and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The organization empowers these individuals and enhances their quality of life, advocating for greater inclusivity.

MINDS offers various services and programs catering to the physical, psychological, environmental, and social needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities. These include schools, employment and training development centers, home-based care services, and community-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Programs: Assist in day-to-day administration, ensuring service calls are attended to 100% of the time. Conduct programs based on client needs and maintain updated records.
  • Manage Manpower Resources: Plan and deploy manpower to support programs. Guide volunteers in executing program activities.
  • Facilitate Volunteer Partnerships: Conduct needs analysis for volunteer programs, support risk assessments, and develop requirements for volunteer profiles.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma with 1-2 years working experience.
  • Social Service sector or program management experience is an advantage.

Other Information:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and have a strong interest in serving individuals with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers.
  • Self-driven and a team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
