Job Title: Project Lead for AI

Project Overview

The Project Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale, complex tech-enabled change projects. You will lead data science and AI projects end-to-end—from gathering business requirements to developing models, evaluating outcomes, and deploying scalable solutions—while collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver data science or AI projects, including scoping, planning, execution, risk management, and closure.
  • Translate complex business problems into well-defined analytical questions and project plans with clear scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, define deliverables, and align priorities.
  • Prioritize tasks and deliverables based on business impact, resource availability, and technical feasibility, while developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation, stakeholder sign-offs, and smooth handover to business-as-usual teams.
  • Present results in a business-friendly format and gather feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager specifically for data science or AI/ML projects or products.
  • Proven experience managing the data science project lifecycle from ideation to production.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies adapted for data science.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with an ability to manage expectations and build consensus.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
  • Highly proactive, takes strong ownership, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
