Senior AI Project Director Role

Overview:

The Senior AI Project Director is accountable for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data Science and Artificial Intelligence projects. This includes translating complex business challenges into actionable project plans, collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define scope, milestones, deliverables, and managing project timelines effectively.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead data science and AI projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans that drive results by converting business challenges into actionable goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and manage project timelines efficiently.
  • Oversee resource allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular project updates to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, secure approvals, and facilitate seamless handover to BAU teams.
  • Present project outcomes in a business-friendly format and gather feedback to improve future projects.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in AI/ML project leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build effective relationships.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to leverage scalable infrastructure.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) to drive project efficiency.
