Job Title: Marine Engine Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Engine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our marine engines.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in 2 or 4 stroke diesel marine or automotive engines. Additionally, they will possess excellent diagnostic skills using computers and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in engine remanufacturing programs, ensuring all work is completed to factory specifications.
  • Investigate engine failures with customers and resolve product issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide support with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of marine engines to customers and dealers.
  • Maintain workshop assets and ensure special tools and personal toolboxes are well-maintained.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Offer updated information on product features and service procedures to dealers and customers.
  • Implement service administration programs and adhere to established procedures.
  • Evaluate warranty claims and ensure timely completion of warranty work.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with experience in marine or automotive engines.
  • Hands-on knowledge of engine servicing and repair is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to respond to customer complaints and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to coordinate multiple tasks effectively.
