Job Overview

As a mechanical design engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex mechanical designs for offshore/marine facilities. Your tasks will include creating detailed equipment specifications, datasheets, and mechanical design calculations.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing and developing mechanical systems for offshore/marine facilities, preparing technical documents, and participating in technical reviews, design verification, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

In addition to the required skills, we are looking for candidates who can work effectively with procurement and vendors for equipment selection, ensure compliance with international standards such as API, ASME, and ISO, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing mechanical systems for offshore/marine facilities
  • Preparing technical documents, including datasheets and mechanical design calculations
  • Participating in technical reviews, design verification, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Coordinating with procurement and vendors for equipment selection
  • Ensuring compliance with international standards, such as API, ASME, and ISO

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in offshore/marine mechanical design
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools
  • Prior experience with big EPC companies is preferred
