Job Title: Production Planning Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Planning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent, and at least 1-2 years of experience in planning, preferably with production planning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
  • Collaborate with project leaders, planners, and production supervisors to prioritize work in line with delivery timelines.
  • Handle material and production planning, including the requisition of materials and updating of Bill of Materials (BOM) or implementing design changes.
  • Confirm orders based on the availability of materials and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with purchasing teams to plan and manage material deliveries, preventing excess inventory buildup.
  • Monitor material availability to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Ensure the timely closure of production orders to facilitate invoicing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in planning, preferably with production planning experience.
