Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance activities, equipment troubleshooting, and shutdown coordination. Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily Maintenance Coordination: Plan, schedule, and execute daily maintenance tasks with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate and resolve faults or failures in equipment, implementing corrective and preventive actions to guarantee reliable operation.
  • Vendor & Shutdown Coordination: Collaborate with in-house and external contractors for day-to-day services and major shutdown maintenance activities, including work planning, site coordination, and communication with production teams.
  • Maintenance Planning & Reliability Improvement: Assist in developing and enhancing long-term maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Inventory & Procurement Support: Monitor maintenance spare parts inventory, receive updates, and assist with purchase requests for tools, spare parts, and maintenance services.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation such as calibration records, maintenance files, work orders, and compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Maintenance supervisor/Engineer in a chemical plant.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Chemical Plant equipment.
  • Basic understanding of Maintenance technology, Mechanical equipment, and manufacturing process.
  • Excellent team player and communication skills with a positive attitude towards work progress.
