Our Diagnostic Imaging Department requires an experienced Radiographer who can provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy, and Theatre Radiography.
Job Description:
The Radiographer performs diagnostic imaging services, including but not limited to CT scans, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy, and Theatre Radiography. Key responsibilities include conducting special examinations, liaising with the Manager, assisting the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process, maintaining radiographic equipment, participating in quality assurance and performance appraisal, attending departmental staff meetings, and supervising and directing activities of departmental staff when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Radiography or Diploma from College of Radiographers (UK) or equivalent.
- Registered with AHPC.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital.
- Computer literacy.
- Able to cover on-call duties as rostered.
- Office hours, off on Sunday and PH.
