Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examination Performance : Perform radiographic examinations in general and advanced imaging modalities such as Ultrasound and Mammography.
- Preparation and Maintenance : Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment to ensure optimal working conditions.
- Patient Care : Provide clear instructions and put patients at ease during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Image Analysis : Analyse digital images and assist in interpretation of findings to aid in accurate diagnoses.
- Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure seamless communication.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to healthcare regulations and protocols.
Requirements:
- Qualifications : Recognised qualification as a Radiographer or Sonographer with a min Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging.
- Registration : Registration with AHPC is mandatory.
- Experience : At least 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the medical imaging industry.
- Technical Skills : Strong technical skills in operating X-ray and ultrasound equipment.
- Attention to Detail : Excellent attention to detail to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Communication Skills : Effective communication skills to liaise with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to Patient-Centred Care : Commitment to delivering patient-centred care and prioritising patient needs.
- Teamwork : Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
