Early Childhood Educator Position

Our preschool is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

Job Description

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children to grow and develop. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the lead teachers with planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students;
  • Helping to create a safe and secure environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development;
  • Encouraging children to explore and learn through hands-on activities, songs, games, and storytelling;
  • Participating in routine care activities such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and sleeping/napping schedules;
  • Assisting with cleaning and disinfecting resources and toys;
  • Documenting observations and maintaining accurate records of children's progress;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant early childhood education certificate or degree;
  • Previous experience working in a preschool setting, preferably as an assistant teacher;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with parents and children;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
  • A passion for educating young children and a commitment to their well-being.
