Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cybersecurity Scientist to guide our cybersecurity product strategy, research initiatives, and ensure the security of our company's products and infrastructure.
Cybersecurity Product Strategy- Collaborate with Product Teams to craft the company's cybersecurity product strategy and roadmap.
- Continuously assess and adapt the product strategy to address new and evolving cybersecurity challenges.
- Lead Cybersecurity Engineers in conducting technical research to understand and forecast emerging cyber threats.
- Develop and evaluate approaches to effectively address these threats.
- Monitor global cybersecurity trends and integrate relevant findings into the product strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct internal product validations to ensure that our cybersecurity products are world-class.
- Oversee the security of the company's products and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Manage and maintain company security certifications such as ISO27001 and CSA STAR Level 2.
- Minimum 8 years of technical experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on research in industry.
- Proven experience in using and managing a wide range of cybersecurity products, cybersecurity researchers, cybersecurity analysts or software engineers.
- Technical experience in one or more of these areas: zero-day vulnerability research, incident response, forensics, reverse engineering exploits, manual penetration testing, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing cybersecurity landscapes and incorporate new information into strategic planning.
