About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team.

This is a high-profile role that requires strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as experience in sourcing and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers of food and baking ingredients, packaging, equipment, and other related products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chains.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings and quality standards.
  • Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Monitor global market trends, pricing, and supply availability to inform procurement decisions.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and product innovation.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure imported dairy products meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Address and resolve any quality or compliance issues with suppliers.
  • Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of dairy products.
  • Manage import documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in FMCG industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs processes, and import/export documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g. SAP).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
