The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute sales strategies and sales plans to drive growth and profitability in the bioprocessing sector. This involves working with highly differentiable, high-value products and flexible solutions that address critical steps in the production of biologic drugs.
Key responsibilities include delivering year-over-year growth for the upstream processing business in assigned territories, utilizing knowledge of upstream cell culture to support customers and the sales team in pre- and post-sales opportunities, driving technology adoption.
This role requires actively supporting the portfolio in front of existing and rapidly growing customer bases in the bioprocess industry.
Responsibilities- Develop sales strategies and sales plans in assigned sales territories to drive growth of upstream businesses.
- Drive sales processes through bioprocessing sales managers to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets for the upstream product portfolio.
- Build and develop relationships with key opinion leaders in process intensification across assigned territories.
- Promote and sell a portfolio of upstream solutions, articulating key differentiators and value propositions of company products.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales roles.
- Extensive knowledge of upstream cell culture and bioprocessing technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
