Elastic Stack Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to design, implement and support observability solutions using the Elastic Stack. This role will involve working with distributed systems and large datasets, so experience with Linux operation systems is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, Manage and Optimize Elastic Stack:
    • Elasticsearch cluster management, optimization and tuning.
    • Log pipeline development and management using Logstash, Beats or Elastic Agent.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot and enhance Elastic Stack components in production environments.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN DASHBOARDS AND ALERTS:
    • Develop and manage dashboards, alerts and visualizations in Kibana.
  • COLLABORATE WITH TEAMS:
    • Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to establish and promote observability best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of working experience with Linux Operation Systems and Elastic Stack.
  • Strong knowledge of observability concepts including logs, metrics, traces and APM.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, Bash).
