Research Position in Mechanobiology

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our mechanobiology group.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with talented research staff, interdisciplinary PIs, and clinician scientists to leverage mechanobiology principles and identify the role of confinement in cell biology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize mechanobiology principles to engineer new molecular biology tools for understanding the mechanical and genetic responses of the nucleus to self-induced cellular confinement.
  • Develop cutting-edge projects using microfluidics, high-resolution imaging, and cell culture techniques.

Requirements:

  • PhD in bioengineering, biology, biomedical sciences, or related fields.
  • Strong background in mechanobiology, molecular biology techniques, microscopy, and image analysis.
  • Prior knowledge of microfluidics is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in collaborative research in an interdisciplinary environment.
