Job Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our team as a Cleaning Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of internal areas, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. They will also be required to dust and wipe surfaces, ensure a clean and presentable environment, prepare and serve tea, coffee, or other beverages to employees, occupants, or visitors, and monitor and replenish beverage supplies.

  • Cleaning Responsibilities:
    • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors for internal areas.
    • Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, tables tops, sofa, cabinets.
    • Ensure a clean and presentable environment for employees and visitors.
  • Tea and Beverage Services:
    • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, or other beverages to employees, occupants, or visitors.
    • Monitor and replenish beverage supplies, such as tea bags, coffee, sugar, and milk.
    • Keep the pantry or refreshment area organized and clean.
    • Collect used cups, dishes, and utensils, and wash them as needed.
  • Support Event Set Up When Required:

Requirements:

  • Prior housekeeping/cleaning experience is advantageous.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to carry heavy items.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • Possess 1 Basic WSQ Cleaning Module and Level 1 Workplace Safety & Health Implementation.
  • Location at Science Park area.
