Sensory Analyst

At TAKASAGO INTERNATIONAL (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled Sensory Analyst to join our team. As a Sensory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the evaluation and selection of commercially winning flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in sensory evaluation sessions to validate raw materials and finished flavors.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of flavors that meet our high standards.
• Collaborate with our Flavour laboratory to provide sensory support and ensure the quality of our products.
• Set priorities and prepare technical correspondence as needed.
• Manage projects and briefs assigned to you, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with the team.
• Develop a common communication platform with the Creation & Application Lab to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of quality in your work.
• Effectively manage our flavor repertoire, identifying gaps and opportunities for growth.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and consumer preferences in the Asia Pacific region.
• Participate in the interpretation of consumer test results with our Market Research team.
• Maintain and update our flavor library, recommending additions and deletions as needed.
• Provide sensory training or presentations for internal staff or customers as required.
• Collect and interpret sensory data, using statistical analysis to inform our decision-making.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or Food Science, or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of sensory evaluation and flavor chemicals.
• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
