Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Participate in sensory evaluation sessions for validation of raw materials and finished flavours.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of commercially winning flavours.
  • Interact with Flavour laboratory including Creation, Application, QC and Customer Sales Request and provide sensory support when needed.
  • Set priorities and prepare technical correspondence when required.
  • Management and interpretation of projects/briefs assigned.
  • Manage all internal aspects of the projects.
  • Develop a common communication platform with the Creation & Application Lab.
  • Meet project deadlines.
  • Effective flavour repertoire management.
  • Effective use and maintenance of computer system to manage Flavour library.
  • Identify gaps in the flavour repertoire.
  • Market/product familiarity.
  • Awareness of needs, trends and consumer preferences in Asia Pacific region.
  • Identify interesting flavours from key product launches for creative interpretations.
  • Participate in interpretation of consumer test results together with Market Research.
  • Maintain and update flavour library by recommending flavour additions/deletions.
  • To carry out any additional job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Provide sensory training or presentations for internal staff or customers.
  • Sensory data collection and interpretation of statistical analysis. Updated on flavour latest technology.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemistry or Food Science related or equivalent in years of similar experiences
  • Basic knowledge of sensory evaluation & flavor chemicals
  • Good Presentation Skill, team player, independent
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
