Purchasing Manager
Our company is seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee the acquisition of materials and services for our construction projects. This role involves working closely with internal teams to identify procurement needs, developing strategic supplier relationships, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an experienced Purchaser who can identify potential suppliers to secure cost-effective materials for construction projects.
  • The ideal candidate will establish strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate terms, including pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills to issue purchase orders, source materials, liaise, negotiate, and follow up with suppliers on documentation, pricing, and quality control.
  • The successful applicant will coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and minimize project delays.
  • We require a collaborative team player to work with internal teams to align purchasing activities with sourcing needs.
  • Maintaining accurate filing and documentation of procurement records is essential for compliance and audit purposes.
  • This position involves handling administrative tasks related to procurement and performing duties assigned by the superior.

Requirements
  • A diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction purchasing or procurement is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will possess negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software is required.
  • Detailed and organized with excellent documentation skills is preferred.
