Job Title: Fleet Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Operations Specialist to oversee the technical operations of our tanker fleet. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of these vessels.

  • Manage daily maintenance activities, coordinate docking operations, and oversee survey schedules.
  • Maintain updated records of class status and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for daily operations.

Additionally, this role ensures adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC. This involves monitoring, coordinating, and attending vessel inspections by oil majors, as well as surveys and following up on related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer and at least 2 years of shore experience as a technical superintendent or fleet manager.
  • MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1).
  • Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as needed.
