Position Overview

As a Senior Pricing Manager at Power Integrations, you will be pivotal in formulating and implementing pricing strategies through close collaboration with leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

Your primary focus will be on continuously refining the pricing processes to enhance customer service, ultimately driving increased sales and profitability for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage the quoting operations, addressing requests for quotes (RFQs) from field sales and customers.
  2. Formulate pricing strategies across diverse product lines, ensuring optimal positioning based on value and competitive landscape.
  3. Establish methodologies for determining List Price, Price Floor, and Price Ceiling for various product lines within different market segments, ensuring alignment with perceived value. Regularly maintain and update the corporate price list.
  4. Identify areas of revenue leakage within the pricing waterfall and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  5. Conduct price band analyses to uncover opportunities for profit improvement.
  6. Lead and manage the pricing process, ensuring compliance and effectively controlling the exemption process.
  7. Collaborate with sales, management, and product managers to execute price adjustments.
  8. Create reports to monitor and track pricing initiatives and related activities across various product lines and market segments.
  9. Develop tools for cost estimation for quotes on new products and implement a value pricing model for all new offerings.
  10. Assist sales teams in negotiating terms and conditions in contracts with customers and channel partners.
  11. Support the annual budgeting process and provide guidance to sales staff on pricing matters as required.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of pricing.
  13. Conduct business and market analyses to support informed managerial decision-making.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
  2. A minimum of five years of pricing or accounting experience within semiconductor firms.
  3. At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  4. Strong business acumen coupled with analytical capabilities.
  5. Ability to think analytically, logically, and consistently.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Familiarity with Cost Accounting and Statistics is preferred.
  8. Minimum of five years of experience working with ERP systems and performing ETL processes.
  9. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  10. Capable of delving into details, managing complexity, and driving decision-making.
