At Skyworks, we are seeking a talented Process Engineer 2 to join our team of innovators in the world of technology. As a Process Engineer 2, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing new or modified process formulations, defining processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviewing processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement new or modified process formulations, and review processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.

• Coordinate design requirement review with engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods.

• Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.

• Conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.

• Develop recommendations according to the nature of the product, cost limitations, legal requirements, and the type of protection required, taking into consideration the need for resistance to external variables.

• Support new product development by performing sample input, new product recipe setup, and design of experiment.

• Coordinate the start-up of new equipment processes, which involves process characterization and development.

• Collect, inspect, and analyze data during development, and conduct continuous improvement programs to optimize process capabilities and reliabilities before fan out for mass production.

• Troubleshoot quality issues during development stages, identify corrective and preventive actions, and ensure smooth mass production.

• Assign and check production operations to ensure compliance with engineering specifications set during development.

• Establish good rapport and build relationships with peers and colleagues by responding to requests and communicating information in a timely manner.

• Comply with all company policies, including safety policies and practices.

• Perform other duties as and when required.

Requirements:


• Candidate must possess at least a BS or equivalent years of experience in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Material Science/Mechanical/Physics/Chemistry or equivalent).

• Minimum 2-3 years of Engineering, Development, or R&D experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in wafer foundry, Packaging, Electronics, or Semiconductor industry.

• Meticulous, enthusiastic, multi-tasking, and sense of urgency, with good attendance.

• Knowledge in problem-solving skills (6 sigma, 8D, DOE), FMEA, SPC, JMP, Process control plan, and general computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Experience in one or more of the following: Wet etch, Dry etch, Photolithography, Thin film deposition, Plating, moralization, F.A, Yield enhancement, or testing, Fab Packaging Assembly process, and Materials experience.
