Job Summary

Skyworks is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer 2 to join our team. As a key member of our assembly operations, you will be responsible for creating new recipes for production, development, and engineering samples activities. Your expertise in VI process optimization, recipe development, and process control will be crucial in ensuring stable assembly performance and yield.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance quality, yield, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve assembly process-related problems.
  • Analyze and resolve defects, particularly those related to upstream processes like dicing, back grind, and laser marking.
  • Perform statistical studies to validate process capability and fan out.
  • Establish optimum processes and provide support to train operations and technicians.
  • Develop process, material specifications, and reject/acceptance criteria for VI.
  • Conduct process FMEA, TCM, and control plan development and characterization reports.
  • Perform process optimization through DOE and material/equipment assessment and selection.
  • Provide offline support to production/technicians during non-office hours to resolve quality issues and yield-related matters.
  • Validate and implement special customer requirements at the VI process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in back-end assembly operations, particularly in VI process.
  • Experience with VI machines like Uenoseiki, ASM, and MiE is an added advantage.
  • Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic knowledge in Design of Experiment (DOE), SPC, and other Quality Tools.
  • Self-starter and team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English communication and writing.
  • Knowledge in SPC/Power BI is an added advantage.
