About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional to lead our solar-as-a-service offering in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales activities across multiple industrial and large commercial target segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive sales growth and revenue expansion in the solar energy sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the APAC region, in collaboration with local and regional BD teams.
  • Generate leads, evaluate, negotiate, and execute business development pipelines.
  • Support pre-investment project evaluation, including interfacing with various parties and conducting site visits/meetings as required.
  • Prepare and present business case and investment recommendation analysis to stakeholders.
  • Work with the internal Project Management team to align solar PV project installation timelines with client projections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in sales/business development, with experience in the Renewable Energy sector an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, with VBA competency an advantage.
  • Self-starter with a sales hunter mentality, outstanding problem-solving skills, and strong teamwork ethos.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
