Backend Engineering Role

We are looking for a seasoned backend engineer to lead the development of our core systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Rust or Golang and a proven track record of designing and implementing high-availability systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using Rust or Golang. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to build MVPs, iterate on them, and scale solutions that are reliable and performant under high loads.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance backend systems using Rust or Golang.
  • Built real-time, high-availability solutions that can handle large volumes of data with low latency.
  • Led the architecture and development of MVPs, iterating rapidly to meet evolving product requirements.
  • Implemented and optimized systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance as we grow.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with at least 2 years in Rust or Golang.
  • Proven expertise on working with Kafka.
  • Strong understanding of real-time systems, with experience building high availability solutions.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling MVPs to production-grade systems.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in early-stage startups, with a focus on cybersecurity or related fields.
