Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delta One Trader to oversee trading activities for India and other Asian markets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high volumes with minimal trading errors, as well as proficiency in delta or currency risk management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Oversee D1 trading for India and other Asian markets
  • • Demonstrate proficiency in managing high volumes with minimum scope of trading error
  • • Ownership for managing and mitigating any delta or currency risk associated with the desk
  • • Adherence to risk policies and procedures in place for the business

Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • • Degree holder in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related discipline(s)
  • • 2 – 5 years relevant experience
  • • Prior experiences in Delta One trading, trading technology and quant strategist is a plus
  • Skills:
  • • Familiarity with Delta One products including: single stock swaps, index swaps, P-note etc.
  • • Self-motivated, fast learner and understand dynamics of equity investment business
  • • Strong motivation to learn, think fast and critically, solve various problems arising from trading, risk control and operation
  • • Attention to details, accuracy, time management and work under pressure
  • • Ability to collaborate and work as a team
  • • Proficiency in using Python/VBA or some programming skill is a plus
  • Desirable Qualities:
  • • Good communication skills to be able to communicate with various counterparties both internally & externally
