Job Title: Business Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Support Specialist to join our team at Fugro. As a Business Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing functional support and training to our Projects and Operations staff. You will be responsible for delivering crucial support to our end-users, enabling them to maximize the effectiveness of our IFS ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional support and training within the domain of Project and Operations Management in Fugro's IFS ERP system.
  • Assist users in navigating the software, diagnosing and resolving functional issues, and answering questions that could not be answered in Level 1 support.
  • Accurately document user interactions, reported problems, and resolutions in a ticketing system or knowledge base.
  • Liaise with developers, system administrators, and BPE's to escalate complex issues, coordinate bug fixes, and communicate updates to end-users.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the user support process and develop self-service resources such as FAQs, user guides, and video tutorials to empower users to solve basic issues independently.
  • Keep updated with the latest software updates to ensure optimal support delivery and suggest improvements.
  • Assist in identifying main risks and propose mitigations in the ERP system where possible.

Requirements:

  • At least a Higher Diploma/Degree in Business Administration.
  • Certifications such as ITIL or HDI Support Center Analyst are a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project (financial) administration or Application Functional support.
  • Experience with Project Management or Operational Management related field.
  • Preferably a background within an international project-oriented environment.
  • Service-minded and great communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
